The History of St. Alban's

The coming of the gospel.

The Anglican church in Yarrabah has a long history since missionary Ernest Gribble began to visit the community in 1868. We are currently compiling the fully history and will publish here soon. Stay tuned!

St. Alban's today

A thriving community faithfully serving Jesus

St. Alban's Anglican Church has a vision to WORSHIP, WITNESS & SERVE in the community of Yarrabah and beyond.

The most recent focus has been to work together as one family and one body as Jesus and the Father are one. Working together, the church has opened an Op-Shop to serve the community, re-instated Religious Instruction in the local school, supported 17 adult students through tertiary ministry studies and hold weekly outreach fellowship throughout the community. St. Alban's strives to support and empower the people of Yarrabah to grow the ministry of Christ in their community.

St. Alban's is led by local clergy, warden's and lay minister's as a part of the Anglican Diocese of North Queensland.
